You need to get up to date Winston. - The spread of the Flu is a modeled number, (artificially low) - The spread of COVID19 is actual numbers and excludes unidentifiable cases. (Artificially high) - The appearance of a wildfire spread is the result of testing bias. There is no doubt. - The mortality rate outside of WA State in the US is 0.8. This years Flu is also 0.8. - While there is no vaccine, the French Study shows the disease responds well to HCQ+Azith. - China has shown in a separate study the effectiveness of HCQ+Rvir Aside from NY, this is NOT an epidemic in the US. Even WA State is posting few new cases. California, a bigger population than NY is only showing 1000 cases since the beginning, and they had a head start on NY. I don’t know what the hell is going on in NY, but they are doing a poor job of containing this ... OR .... it’s been there a lot longer than we think, and as I said, the numbers are just a reflection of all of the sudden having a test to swab every person that sneezes. I still suspect we could go and do a bunch of Post Mortem test on pneumonia deaths since November, and a lot of them will test positive for COVID19 . It’s highly likely that the only thing making it look like it will overwhelm the system is a mass panic of people flooding the system thanks to the irresponsible way this was rolled out. No doubt your buddies in the Media thinking .... this is the one ... finally this is the one we can use to bring him down. Orange Man Bad!! How many times before this have you run to the hospital for a cold? Bet the thousands running there now never did either.
I think the case with NY is similar to Europe in that there is congestion with so many people living in proximity to each other. Shut things down and they become an even tighter concentration. Mass public transportation is another breeder, popular in both areas.
