I will agree that the MSM has been completely overblown and overboard in their attacks on Trump. That is part of a continuing effort. However that doesn’t obviate the fact that Trump’s performance before last weekend was below par.
i hear ya. i am not qualified to judge his performance because i dont understand the economic vs health dynamics, nor do i understand the ROI on various measures that ostensibly limit spread of the virus. i dont know what he should do. presumably he should follow the advice of the experts, and i have no reason to think he isnt.

I am not sure why you insist on saying things that are untrue. The reason SK could do what they did with testing is because they only have 51 million people in their country. Further: Norther border locked down and no southern border. Only-way in are international airports and sea ports. TRUMP has literally been trying since day one to control our borders. Accurate portrayal of events is not a deflection.
You fail to understand the strategy behind SK's testing. They did it only because they could enforce isolation. We cant.

That doesn’t even begin to excuse the lack of preparation in the US. The Koreans engaged the private sector to help. Trump’s team still hasn’t figured out how. Rather than sitting back with eyes closed and denying reality the Koreans acted. Anyway weren’t all you Trumpsters lauding him for closing the borders? So why didn’t he do a better job of isolating us? Maybe because he was discounting the impact and listening to Jared Kushner not experts. BTW I’ve been to Seoul and S Korea several times. They have significant international travel and no more ability to enforce domestic isolation than we do. No the comparison is valid. You don’t like it because it makes Trump look bad.
