I tell you what....since you were polite enough to call me 'bud' I will admit that technically Trump did not say that the corona virus was a hoax. However, it was subjective enough that he had to clarify the remark the following day. Now...can you admit that Trump's claims about the corona virus were false? Did we have it under control or not? And, in all reality, let's face it....whose words matter more? mine or the Presidents? So can everyone who wants a test have a test or not? Are the cases going down significantly or not? I manned up. Can you?
jan 22 when one guy in the US had it. and the global death total was 9, all in china, and one guy in the US had it, you are calling it a lie to say it was under control? seems pretty under control where one guy out of 300 million has it. how many deaths do you need to call it out of control? zero? nobody has died from aids in my family. would you say that aids is out of control in my family?
of course not, just be honest. this isn't an either/or situation where you either have to stoke mass hysteria or lie about the entire thing...a good leader can be informative without stoking fear. But when you start saying things like, "we have it totally under control" while the cases are doubling each day and the situation isn't getting better then you lose credibility as a leader.
but you said it anyways, as did many many media sources, even after the clarification, dem candidates kept making the claim. they were lying. yunno why they did it, and yunno why the media allowed it? trump derangement syndrome. all criticisms of trump are unquestioned and assumed to valid, and any defense of his anything is presumed to based in racism or other depolorable inclinations. the new york times even called the virus the trump virus. the mainstream media has a very bad case of TDS. i dont. and i didnt vote trump and never will.

Bruh. There are only 230k cases globally. Did you know that around 250k people die each year in China in car wrecks. Do you think Covid19 will kill even 100k people globally?
even if you believe this narrative that everything was under control on January 22nd....what about every day after that with the exception of the past three days when Trump continued to say it was under control? why do you keep defending him? why can't you admit when he isn't honest? you are trying to hold everyone else to a different standard than you are him. Why?
