If we were just talking about politicians here I could see your reluctance to accept information, but Dr. Anthony Fauci isn't a politician. Doctor upon doctor is emphasizing the seriousness of this yet there are folks around here who are still skeptical that this is all a concoction of the media's making. I posted that to show how easily it could have been misconstrued from the headline.
