The Mrs & I are pretty sure we have it. Mild flu like. The jacked up sense of smell and taste are annoying
I lost taste and smell this morning. Wife lost it last night. She’s got muscle aches. But that’s it. I have a sore throat and she has a sore back. And a sporadic fever. Is this what we bombed our economy over? Not feeling good?
Well, yall can add me to the list. Went to San Diego last week and started feeling clammy on Wednesday. Tested positive Thursday. Retested last night when I got home just to make sure it wasn't a false positive, but it's positive. I have NOT lost my taste or smell (and that's a good thing .. cause at the moment, I smell bacon!!) At first I had a really faint headache, and felt clammy, and an occasional throat clearing or a cough. Frankly, I don't really feel all that bad at all. I have had plenty of colds over my lifetime that were far worse. Bought a thermometer on Thurs, turned out my temp was running upper 99.X-100. Took three Advil yesterday morning, and that seemed to control that all day long. I'd say the biggest thing, is when I landed back in AR last night . the HUMIDITY! In San Diego (75F and practically no humidity), no sinus issues at all .. bring in the 150% humidity we are having and my sinuses didn't seem to like that much.
It took me 2 days to lose taste and smell. Get ready for the suck ETA: The whole thing felt like a bad sinus infection.
I'm on day 4, .. so far so good. I've read that loss of taste and smell is not as common with Omicron as it was with the original. My symptoms are more like allergies.
