Because typically folks don't like to find out that they have been lied to by their government. Im just shedding light on it. Trying to help you but instead you get defensive.

It is because most people lack personal accountability. Lets take covid for example. If you are a fattass and get it and die, its not covids fault. Its your own because you are too fat and unhealthy. But no one wants to acknowledge this.

Its like suing a Tabaco company because you got lung cancer or an alcohol company because you destroyed your liver.

Its is absolutely rare for Covid to kill someone below 60 that has taken care of themselves. All the data points to this and our overlords ignore it.

i feel the media has failed me terribly. i dont know dick about disease and shit. but it seems to me we should be celbrating a variant of a virus taking over, if that variant is super safe, and safer than previous strains.

for example, if there was a zeta variant, and it was so contagious that everyone got it in like 48 hours, and its outcome was one sneeze, and then we have natural immunity, shouldnt that be considered a wonderful gift?

and isnt that more or less what this variant is?

again, i am not a doctor, but my understanding is that diseases and parasites and virus and bacteria etc, they dont want to kill their hosts. they evolve to become safer, not less safe for the host. if the hostr dies, thats one less vector, one less spreader.

so why does the media keep reporting case numbers but not so much reporting of death and hospital numbers? why would i ever care the slightest bit of case numbers? if the case numbers were 8 billion and the death rate was zero, thats not a concern! in fact its an anti-concern!

for all i know, there a whole bunch of viruses that pass around the world all the time and nobody notices becuase they have minimal effect on us.

we should just stop testing and stop caring.

if ncaa basketball gets upset i will lose my shit

Right. Omicron essentially signals the end of any remotely rational fear of Covid. But they’re not about to let up. Too much money (vaccines, boosters, mask, etc) and power (mail in votes) at stake.

I agree. Everyone knows where I stood a year ago and I stand by my position AT THE TIME.
Tody is different Xi isn’t killing anyone anywhere like flu. I think the time to bow to the disease and government pronouncements is about over. I’m done with it.
