Seems like if it only cost 4 cents a pill the manufacturing process would allow it to be mass produced quickly.

I read your link and I don't have the time to look it up right now so I will have to take your word. That said, there is no questioning that Trump downplayed the seriousness of the virus from the beginning. Whether he specifically called the virus a 'hoax' or just used it in context to insinuate that it was a hoax, there is no denying that he didn't seem to be serious about the nature of what we are facing. If you'd like, I will be happy to go and quote all of those times that he said we had it under control but I am sure you know of them too.

You don't have to be a Trump hater to see that he was downplaying the significance of this virus until about three days ago. He has done a great job since then. Like I have always said, it isn't fair to blame Trump for coronavirus, but his response to it will be judged by all of the American people. Trump did call the virus "their (Democrats) new hoax..." and went on to downplay the seriousness of the virus by comparing it to the flu. I think you have a misconception that I am rooting for Trump to fail and nothing can be further from the truth. Over the past three days I give the guy high marks...he's started acting like a leader and it's just in time. I have an equal stake in seeing him do well in combating this on our behalf, just like you. I do, however, see it clearly when he doesn't do well and that is what I think you guys could do a better job of.

I agree with this. Drastic action has to be taken or this could wipe out an entire country's wealth. To all of those who still question the severity of what we are facing medically, just take a look at our economic response to see how seriously they are taking it now.

I can't stand Trump but there is no way you can honestly blame a recession on him. I didn't care for Trump's initial response to this but he's been pretty damn good the past three days. I don't doubt there will be others who do blame him for it, including on your side, but I'll not be one of them. I'll criticize where I feel it is necessary but blaming him for this would be like blaming him if a meteor hit South Dakota.

Frankly NC, I think the Media, the world, the everybody is actually making too much of this virus. The facts as they are:
    - It is a coronavirus, one of many that cause common cold symptoms
    - SARS Cov 2 causes mild symptoms in over 90% of the people who contract it.
    - It is deadly to people with existing cardiovascular disease due to hypoxemia.
    - It’s only distinguishing factor appears to be our lack of immunity too it is contributing to a rapid spread.
    - When all is said and done, the Flu will have taken more lives this year than COVID19.
