I will be leaving for Disney World Monday. In the interest of smaller crowds, I hope many of our blue-state friends cancel their Christmas trips.

Yes, we've had reservations since June. The masks will suck, but it is what it is. I don't wear them locally anymore, not even to teach, which was as hard as hell last year.

Every time people act like masks are no big deal, or even say that they LIKE wearing them, I just look at them like they're crazy. Although, I have noticed that the masks were a way to hide faces, which I think some people like? I like to smile at people, so masks take that disarming technique away.

Good, I heard they are completely booked up through year end except for a couple of slots that come with a Disney hotel stay.

I am going to Aspen and yes it's infested with very liberal hypocritical freaks. They know who I am and give me a wide berth. They know I have a short fuse and tend to tell then pretty quickly they are wasting their time and better off we don't talk. They continue they get insulted. This will 32 years in row skiing there I am a veteran of the wars there.

 

How much is a lift ticket these days? When I was physically able to ski, I skied at a small area near Leadville, Ski Cooper. No lift line and super snow conditions. It's where the 10th Mountain Division trained.
