News Is coronavirus a wild card?

Honest question. What do you make of the widespread data showing that vaccinated people are FAR more protected from both infection, and death? https://www.dshs.texas.gov/immunize/covid19/data/cases-and-deaths-by-vaccination-status-11082021.pdf

I understand the idea that the vaccines were brought to market quickly. But "one year to the date" shows very little adverse vaccine effect (a few cases of clotting), and TONS AND TONS of benefits (like my link above).

I'm anti-mandate, by the way. So I'll tell you why my family and I all took it: I didn't want us to get really sick. I don't fear death from COVID. I don't even really fear getting ill. But a free vaccine for a really bad virus came out, so I took it. And I have watched along as mountains of proof have come out that it does what it's supposed to do. And I have not had a single adverse reaction.

Once again, I am anti-mandate. But I'm also anti being called an idiot sheep or whatever.

You are looking at it wrong.

If There was a virus that had a 50% chance to kill you if you got it, then those numbers would make a difference.

If I already have a 99% survival rate, I dont really care if taking a shot, which requires over 3 boosters and looks to continue to need boosters, gives me a 20X additional survival rate.

Its like just accepting the risk of owning a care means your are 20X more likely to die in a car crash. Sounds scary until you realize its still a very low possibility.

Another example, If you never fly in a plane you could never die in a plane crash, however, simply getting on a plane increases your chances 100X. Though, you have even less of a chance to fall out of the sky than getting in a fatal car crash.

@Robidoux87 here is the thing. This virus is not all that deadly so start with that. 98% survivability is a soft estimate as its probably greater but we can go with 98%. There is also a mountain of evidence that supports therapeutics which was and still is being suppressed by pharma. Why would they do that? Because they can't get the EUA if there is treatment.

Fully vaxed can and do still get the virus and still spread the virus with a higher viral load than unvaxed so no thanks whats the point.

There is also the side effects. There are far too many and its only a year. There will be more and they will get worse and there is no way to stop them or reverse the damage.

If I, or anyone I know, ever develops a single damaging side effect, I will not only admit it on this site for all to read....I will privately ask for your address and send you a six pack.

I can't stress this enough, it should be a personal choice to take or not take it.

What some people do that I find off-putting is this condescending "own the libs, I'm smarter than all you sheep, check out this YouTube I found" contrarian act.

 

None of us do that.

If anyone is blasted in this country for free thinking its us that choose not to fall in line.

 

Totally agree, im just trying to get information out so an informed decision can be made. To get you people to think and not just swallow what fauci is selling
