Yea I care to the extent they are in my life. However, I have realized no matter my love or good intentions, they are them. Nothing I can say or do matters.

It all comes down to a choice I am not responsible for.

you give a fuck about people stranded in Afghanistan without no way of getting out, beyond their own efforts. You care. You don't just walk around town looking at people thinking why aren't they dead yet. I have read your posts. You care.

"Care" is relative. People dying across the globe does not affect me. I do wish different for them, but not in a way that I would change my life for them.

Its only the people I have seen face to face I would risk any physical harm for these days. When younger, I would have been gullible enough to die for faceless people.

yes care is relative. The people you see face to face are not all physically fit. It is an impossible thing in the US today. They must be susceptible to covid. You would want them to live rather than die. Maybe a vaxx would help that.

Again, I am not saying you need to change. Is this just a philosophical debate?

You know, the argument has always been about thy neighbor. Protecting others.

Why should I care about the health of people who dont take the time to treat their bodies right?

you are correct on that level but then YOU have to go out and live with other people who are not like you. They make forces on your life that you have to account for. Good or bad. You have to deal with it. YOU don't live in a bubble. They affect your YOU and you affect them. You cannot remove yourself from them. That is how we live. As strong minded as you are, they affect it somehow.

They make YOU possible and viceversa. You just can't kill them off.

you know your income depends on others. You want them to live. You will be a poor man depending on the good health of others.

I think this is where we differ. I accept that as I participate in life, external factors (you) could do some harm to me. Its called life.

I should not be able to dictate ANYTHING in your life. If this is the way, then I should consider conquering my neighbors since I have such power available to me....

well I am not an advocate on dictating things. I am going to lose people at my work because of a mandate. This was not my argument. I have made that plain and clear already. We went down a different road. Always, you do you.
