News Is coronavirus a wild card?

It was "gained of function" by Faucci. It is man made so nature doesn't handle it like a normal virus. Vaccines, at least the ones we have now don't work on it like a normal vaccine.

 

I feel like we have been stuck in dystopian hell since March 2020. Tomorrow...starting my 30th year of teaching...my second in a mask.

 

Yep, it's starting to get to me. Got 7 family members in Mississippi with new Covid; brother in law died from a heart attack Saturday; another brother in law's cancer is back; I'm working 6 days a week covering Covid quarantines absences; My son won't let us visit because we didn't get the vaccine., Our vacation trip to LA in two weeks is canceled due to Covid and Cancer treatments.
Pile on the stupidity in Washington.......About had enough.....

 

It won't get pulled unless there is a comparable study done with Ivermectin as was done with the vaccines. And.. that's not going to happen unless someone comes along who is willing to drop about 10 million on a trial with absolutely NO expectation of ever getting a penny of that back. (Ivermectin sells for a whopping 2 cents a pill).

So .. what kinds of study am I talking about. Recruit 40,000 unvaccinated people, randomly assign them to treatment or placebo, and then wait for months to see who gets infected, hospitalizations and deaths. In the Pfizer vaccine trial, out of 20,000 patients in each arm, 9 people self reported as being infected, and 170 people reported being infected out of 20,000 in the placebo arm. These numbers are admittedly substantial undercounts of actual cases, as the only people who sought testing in both groups were the ones who experienced symptoms. It can be assumed that all the asymptomatic people didn't bother. That is what it would take for FDA to pull the EUA.

If you REALLY wanted to stick it to them, you'd find 60,000 unvaccinated people, and randomize them to ivermectin, vaccine and placebo. I'd actually really like to see this, a study conducted by an independent investigator. If ivermectin shows no statistically significant differences from the vaccine, and separates from placebo, you'd have a case.

BUT ... it will be too late. The FDA, under pressure from the Administration is aiming to fully approve Pfizer's vaccine by early September. After that, it no longer is an EUA, it becomes an indication. Frankly, IMO, they don't have the data for this. There still is no long term safety data.

 

Yes .. you misunderstood. The virus gets through, but it just hangs tight to you. You aren't blowing it across the room. Think about "social distancing" ... if 6 feet is required to prevent infection, that could be reduced to 4 ft, which is pretty normal, at least for me ... I hate people who get up in my face! Refer to the oft referenced meme ...


In reality, the only person who needs to wear the pants is the guy peeing! ... and he soaks in his own pee. Contrary to Media Reports, viruses are very fragile little critters. Finding a virus on a surface, and finding a viable virus on a surface are two totally different things. The hardiest of viruses can only live on your skin for about 20 min.

Oh i understand I just dont buy the effectiveness. I think the infected are spreading it the same regardless.

 

My wife tested positive for Covid today despite having gotten vaccine. Never trusted all the propaganda anyway but this confirms what I knew all along. The clowns running this country now are not just common every day clowns they are Killer Clowns.
