My idea of a great vacation doesn't include being in close proximity to 2000 to 3000 other people not including the crew. Those cruise ships are nothing but giant floating hotel rooms. The reasonably priced rooms are tiny and don't have an ocean view. Only way I would go on a cruise would be if I was really, really good at shuffleboard and the geriatric set liked to play for high stakes.

i think its also about population density. Atlanta is nothing like new york. also NY has two massive international airports and another large domestic one. most flights from europe to the US come through new york. seattle and the west coast have much more exposure to asia. houston and dallas have big populations and intl airports but they are also less dense, and more connected to south and central america where the coasts are connected to europe and asia. i agree diblasio is a fuckface but i dont think its about red state/blue state as implied
