My daughter had a friend spend the night a couple Saturdays ago. Then on Wednesday, the friend was not at school. She went into quarantine because her mom, dad, and brother all tested positive. They got the covid at a family wedding they attended the Saturday before the sleepover! My wife and I are talking to her dad in our driveway during the dropoff. No masks all around. Damn, does that mean we will get it? Not this time.

The girl was quarantined in the sick house for two weeks. Her dad and brother had very mild symptoms. Her mom had it pretty bad. She felt like shit for 10 days. The girl never tested positive. Mom is 48 and an avid jogger and exerciser. Dad is over 60. Her and her brother are a year apart.
