My daughter told me similar but what I told her was that although not like it used to be, at least she is at school. Which is better than being stuck at home.
your daughter is lucky! LOL. Reminds me of the 4 men from Yorkshire. We have to go online for 3 weeks and then we can go in person. Yes the same kind of protocol. I'm sure I will hear the same thing soon.

I have come to the conclusion that I would just prefer school to be online if it can't be relatively normal. Transferring everything to online is extremely time-consuming as it is, but then, if we ever have in-person school, we have to still put everything online and teach our students who are at school on the computer while monitoring the students who are at home. I can't wrap my brain around how that will work. My sophomore was at school at 7 for drill team practice this morning, came home at 8:30, then went to her best friend's house to work with her and another bestie, so they weren't alone all day. Screwed up world we're living in.
