This article is TWO MONTHS OLD. Not an indictment of CDC but rather of the non-existent coordinated federal response to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Punting to each state to do their own thing was 100% certain to have these glitches. With the recent change in federal reporting guidance, and with the highly specific reporting format and criteria, the quality of the data received will improve and will finally become actionable.
And in the mean time, the spread between cases and deaths continues to widen to crazy levels. At the peak in March, we were having about 2000 deaths with a case load of about 30,000 cases per day. Today, we see less than 1000 deaths with a case load pushing 75,000 per day. Ummm .... do I have to point out those curves are going in the opposite direction?
What are you hearing? Many parents in Plano ISD feel so betrayed after over 70% chose in person for their children. According to one source in the district office, over 70% of the teachers were also willing to go back in person. They asked us, and we responded, as did the parents. I am still reeling about this. Since March, I feel everyone has had one shit sandwich after another shoved down our throats calling our shit sandwiches to be "for the greater good."
I am fairly certain that everytime throughout history where people were asked to surrender freedoms they were told it was for the "greater good".
Enlighten me Shane I tend to fly by the seat of my pants have no idea about the quote feature. Seriously
The shit sandwich is for the greater good, greater good of the DEMOCRATS. They could at least add bacon but noooooooooo. F##k facemask And Fauci
If you remember they "punted" to the states for two reasons. The first and largest reason being, the states told Trump and the feds to fuck off. Or did you already forget that? The other being so they could tailor make and stagger the approach based on local need. Basically more of the same. Do something and then blame the Trump administration for it ie; Cuomo in NY.
What???? Not aware of states telling Trump to fuck off . . . unless in regard to Trump stating repeatedly that CV-19 was not a problem. Seems like the pleas I recall were along the lines of "CV-19 knows no boundaries."
