News Is coronavirus a wild card?

I have seen this addressed several times. Turns out airplane air is pretty high quality. Apparently air comes in above seat and at waist level. Air is sucked out at waist high and foot level.

As a result of venting design, there is very little fore and aft movement of air., Most comes in and leaves at pretty much the same point.

in addition to all of this, the air that is recirculated goes through fancy filters, but a large percentage of fresh air is continually dumped into the plane.

I don’t have any more details, but I’ve seen this discussed 3 or 4 times and the explanations have been pretty much the same.

I don’t think that was his point. Air in commercial aircraft is not like most enclosed spaces. As HWR described it’s pretty well segregated and filtered. It may not be like beach air but significantly better than store, restaurant or bar air.

 

I got his point my point is how the hell can it be safe in a plane and not ok on a beach or any other wide open space for that matter. I have over 500k miles on united and countless others on other airlines. I have gotten sick from plane travel many times. So again I ain't buying their bullshit.
