I like it. The line in the sand has been drawn. This is the election right here.

    Trump:
'We're not going to close the country again': Trump flatly rules out another lockdown if America gets hit by a second wave of coronavirus in the winter

Somebody should grow a strain of weed and call it Boner Blue.

i am getting increasingly angry at the inability of media and politicians to spread the message that young healthy people dont have to care about this. sports leagues can totally ignore it. the NBA player could all lick each other and be fine.

the local nursing home bingo league has to care ALOT. young people can totally forget this exists. the closing of schools is madness.

This hasn't really been about a virus for quite a while.

And I am beyond wary that schools might still be closed in the fall. I will be 50 in the fall, but I am not afraid of getting this virus. I AM afraid of not being able to teach as I have for the past 28 years.

I went into teaching to work with young people, not sitting on my ass in front of a computer all day. The only positives were waking up later, rarely putting on makeup, and taking long walks in the middle of the day.

I haven't been this well-rested in 20 years--which probably helps my immune system.

But I want to go back to my classroom and my new students. I want to be able to talk to my students from last year in the halls. I want life to resume.

My younger daughter and I met one her friends and her mom at a local Tex Mex restaurant Thursday night. We were talking with them outside for a couple of minutes after we got up from our table. A mother and daughter walked by ( to eat in the restaurant). The mom said loudly, "Wow...great social distancing."

    Guys, screw that bullshit.
