that whole NBA thing was very revealing. one owner supports hong kong and then all the stars have to come out saying they love china. i wonder which part they love. the killing of journalists, or the torture of muslims? actually shane might like that bit.
16 mins max. It’s like 8 miles. I agree with martins friends however. However I never had a brisket sandwich from there.
I would like it a bit more if it were done by just about anyone but China. Can we torture the muslims and the chinese at the same time? Now that I would like!
I’ve been asking that question for years. Ive decided there is no great bbq here. Generally speaking. We’re too busy eating everything else.
Compared to Mississipp, Memphis and even Texas Q here sucks. I used to go to TJ Ribs for the baby backs pretty often but I haven't been in a few years. VooDooBBQ? 2 thumbs down. I haven't been to Couyon's since the one on Burbank closed. Just alright but good proportions. Where else is there? Sonny's on Florida almost to Denham Springs if they are still there.
Have you tried Hannah Qs. It’s decent. Jays is still open. It’s ok. That’s why I need to try all those dives around town. There’s some place near the old podnuhs on Sherwood called sauce and bones. Hadn’t been. BRQ on Jefferson pretty good.
Haven't been to Hannah Qs. Aren't they in Prairieville? I used to love Jay's when I was a kid. Their sauce was different from any other. A little runny but taste great. Smokin' Aces on Government was pretty good but they went out of business. The owner of the property opened it as Garden District BBQ. Not bad. He told me he had the same pitmaster as Smokin' Aces. He was closed down after a month or two.
damn that was quick. hard to succeed in the restaurant business. I saw it but never stopped. hannahs now has a place on government. they have all kinds of sauces. I suppose id rather some ribs at tjs than most these joints however.
