No. I'm not in favor of spending all that money for what won't help anybody for more than a month. But I'm not giving my $1200 stimulus money back.

I'll probably be the drunk asshole. But no. The odds are not greater for me. Especially since I haven't been driving as much lately. Maybe for you but have you checked your liver lately? I'm old enough and with health problems that tip the balance in favor of the virus. Not to say it's like that for everybody. Let anybody who wants to go back to work. It's really like playing dice. The odds are in favor of most people but without some sign that you have some acquired immunity do you want to be the one rolling snake eyes. My odds of rolling snake eyes are greater than a younger and healthier person.

If I was 25 I would still go out to bars, drink and chase tail and dare the virus to get me. Would have been like betting on LSU vs McNeese. Now I'm the McNeese.

Used to have an expression in the Pentagon, "Where one stands depends on where one sits."

Reaction to Covid-19 is a near perfect example. I am honest. If I was 25 or so, I would be a whole lot less concerned about the impact of the disease on my family and myself. If I was out of work, with expenses mounting, I am sure I would view opening things up a lot quicker as life or death.

Here is something that’s really screwed up. We got ours $2400 stimulus deposit yesterday. Our income has not suffered one penny. In fact, my wife, in the at risk group, has been on administrative leave and is getting paid. Money for nothing. And my car insurance has gotten cheaper, too. We haven’t given it all away, but we are buying gift cards from lots of locally owned restaurants, and supporting a few other things. While we are hunkered down.

You are incorrect. You don't want to believe it but you are.

Except it's not that way, we dont know how many people in the high risk group, had it and got over it. Our reaction really has been like that of a scared little girl. We just ran Around screaming omg we are all going to die, with no real idea as to whether that is true or not.

I am not wrong. I know what my medical issues are. You don't. Look, I may even have had a mild case and built up immunity but I don't know that. I have a doctor's appointment on May 12th. Was postponed before by doctor, not me. I'm going to see if they will test me if such a test is available.

Regardless of your health, there are plenty of things with a higher % chance of putting you in a box than CV19. Just the facts.
