people have been traveling massively around the world for over 50 years, and life carried on smoothly,.. now, a worse than normal flu bug shows up and we panic, omg omg omg,.. If that same coronavirus had showed up in the 1980's, life would have carried on per usual,.. but today we believe chicken little when he tells us the sky is falling ... remember y2k, the predictions of calamity and doom,.. that didn't happen ... remember the predicted swine flu pandemic, it was going to be devastating, going to swamp our hospitals, kill hundreds of thousands of Americans,.. didn't happen I think the coronavirus situation is,.. one third- stronger than normal flu bug,.. one third- news media storm, trying to get people scared, so they're glued to the tv, and increase ad revenues,.. and one third- politicians and people in power, like health officials, college presidents, business leaders, and sports commissioners, covering their butts. is this going to be the new norm?.. a health official says, "Boo" and the country goes into lockdown?
