i was thinking about this basebal plan.

its all about phoenix, where there is a bunch of spring training fields. spring training facilities lways have multiple parks, and when you wacth the games there are often more minor league games going on the other fields. they surely have enough fields for all the teams. then they could play at the small park, or at chase field. chase field is an amazing park, i have been there it rules. they would never have rain out because it can close and also it never rains anyways, and and have new turf whiich they say is the best in the world. it would never wear out you can play 6 games a day on it, one after the next.

but how can they stay isolated? how would the players live? in containment? what about the food delivery, the bus driver, the facility managers? the zillion guys needed to run stuff? are they islolated? they cant be! what if a chef gets the rona from his son who got it at the playground? whole season over again?

True. I've been iRacing for about 10 years and its crazy how seriously some people can take it. Its cracking me up that these pros are getting on there and acting just like us amateurs when things don't go their way. And btw, I'm not all that good at iRacing; I think I rank somewhere around 15,000 in the world in the oval divisions. When you enter an "official" race, iRacing automatically slots you with other drivers at your general skill level. I've raced Bristol many times where the carnage was nowhere near what we saw from the best in the business last week.

I'm not so sure the economy rebounds quickly we have panicked everyone (a whole lot on this board). What company is going to want to be first to reopen their doors. Hell you know as soon as they do someone will catch it and then all hell is going to break lose again. We really screwed the pooch here but shutting everything down. My county still only has 3 cases, 2 if which are in the same household. But the whole county has been shut down for 2 weeks.

Crops are rotting on the field milk is being dumped on the ground, just wait till summer when a fresh food cost 10 times what's its should.

But ok wear your mask or your going to die. Next level chicken little bullshit.

Governor Abbott in Texas is pissed at Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins because Dallas has a slew of beds set up in the convention center downtown, but no one is in the beds. Abbott is like, "Use it or lose it."

Clay Jenkins has been right out in front sounding the panic alarm, but he has had to admit that we don't need the beds right now because the hospitals are not overwhelmed.

Of course, he followed that up with, "But, but, but....we're expecting to see huge increases in the next week or two."

The Collin County numbers (where I live) say 10 hospitalizations. That doesn't make me very scared.

All of them. They are all very anxious to start making money again. Greed will triumph.

We will see, you already see people striking because of work conditions...that isn't going to change very soon, now that everyone is cowering in their homes.

Strikers will go back to work before they are homeless and hungry. If they don't somebody else will fill those jobs.

If you lived in Baton Rouge or even worse New Orleans you might well be cowering in your home. Since this is a forum for LSU sports I assume that all you Texans have some ties to Louisiana. Maybe y'all have been spared so far because even virii can't stand loudmouth Texans.
