Pawl. Pawl. How come you don't wear no mask? Even us dumb ass gumps were 'em in the trailer parks. A couple of weeks ago a local hospital was running out of masks. They were teaching some employees how to make them out of cloth.
And that is the solution. .... wear a bandana, a scarf, anything that prevents you from spreading germs. I’ve got those things you wear over your face when you go snow skiing that would work perfectly. And they are machine washable We in the public don’t need the higher quality mask, as the primary function is to prevent US from spreading germs. Healthcare folk, on the other hand need the high quality to protect them from getting the virus from patients. . As opposed to closing down the country by force, force everyone to cover up and get back to work.
I am not opposed to that. I am sure the liberty lovers out there would still have something to say about it.
Well, liberty remains part of the equation. For example. Employer requires you to wear a mask, bandana, etc in order to enter the building and continue to get your paycheck. You are at liberty to quit your job .... or, you can comply and eat next week. I mean, I don’t think I need a drivers license in order to drive, but it’s required, and if I get caught without one, it’ll cost me.
So much for hoarding the goods. AG Barr will show up, reimburse you fair market price, and take your goods and give them to the people who need them. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/doj-hhs-distribute-nearly-200k-hoarded-ppe-supplies-to-nj-ny
I have heard of places that will fire you for smoking cigarettes even away from the place of business. Also the testing for marijuana use should be banned except for obvious occupations like airline pilot.
I have a small number of masks (cheapos) I got when I cleaned the old garage out several years ago. There were significant number of decomposed/decomposing rats out there. Didn’t even want to be there, much less breathe that shit. I got a box, used a couple, and closed the box. Put back on a shelf. I am sure no longer sanitary, or I would have donated to our hospital but we wore them yesterday to get curb pickup groceries. They seemed ok, at least did not stink. Saw 2 or 3 others, out of 25 or 30 people. JI expect as soon as they are available, they will be on everyone. Of course that might be a long time.
I see a few people in public wearing masks but the vast majority don't wear them. I asked one lady where she got hers and she said she worked at a hospital. I'm not even going to try going to a drug store because I'm pretty sure they are sold out. Paint stores too. I used to wear them if I had to paint something to avoid the fumes.
