Tell me exactly how its different if someone assembles 10 people in their backyard versus 10 people meeting at a church?

Well ... not to join the dark side here, but there are differences in meeting in closed spaces vs open spaces. Humidity is generally higher outside thus, viral particles may not travel as far as they would in the dry air inside a Church. The air currents outside differ significantly compared to the air currents inside as well, as outside has no ceiling. Then there is the issue of dilution. Outside air is a continually flowing current, thus the air you breath outside has moved in from a different space, whereas air inside is generally stale and the only circulation is via an hvac system which basically recirculates the same air. Lastly, there are no walls that can confine the occupants. So when you get ready to leave, it is much easier to keep distance between you and others, whereas, in a Church, there is a door, and the aisles between the pews, and it’s much more difficult to avoid encroaching on another persons safe zone.

    just sayin

It's not only the sick and the elderly. It's anybody with a pre existing medical condition. How many millions of more more people is that? Nobody knows. And how many more people have undiagnosed medical profession? Especially younger people who make fewer doctor visits because A. They don't feel bad right now and B. They have no health insurance.

If people have a right to worship the chosen diety of their choice in large groups then people havevjust as much right to cheer for their favorite basketball or baseball teams in the company of thousands of other people. They have the right to watch musicians play and sing un large arenas. They have a right to choose to watch a movie in a theater instead of at homenon Netflix.
Let the games begin. If you eant to go to a game I'll buy your ticket. But I'm only buying one because I won't be be theid until I feel like it's safe.

You guys really need to read this.

    https://wattsupwiththat.com/2020/04/01/do-lockdowns-work/

Dr Willis has nailed it. He analyzed all the measures taken in all kinds of countries. He notes that it doesn’t seem to matter how many or what institutional controls you put in place, shutdowns, lock downs, social distancing, visa checks, blocking flights, closing borders and more, ... the death rate will not correspond. The most interesting part of all, he calls out Japan, with the lowest death rate in the planet. What was their only defense?... MASK. Japanese are notorious for wearing mask to prevent outbreaks. Willis points out 2 significant effects of mask. 1) it prevents you from touching your mouth and nose. 2) it prevents you from spreading germs when you cough, sneeze or talk. Mask may not help much at preventing you from inhaling the virus, though it will help some, but they decrease the amount of virus being spread in the environment significantly. Combined with preventing you from touching your face, they drastically decrease the spread.

So go out to the garage and dig up those old painters mask you’ve had stored for years.
