There is nothing authoritarian about making wise decisions to protect the public from the bullshit media complex we have in this nation. We both agree it is unconstitutional to shut down the media, (that would be authoritarian) but it is completely acceptable to limit the data to which the media has access. Just think of it this way NC ..... we don’t let the media see confidential national security documents. It’s the same principle. There are few people who know what to do with such data, and what the data means. There simply is no reason for it to be subjected to a dishonest media. .... especially one with a fixation on bringing down the man who is currently responsible for making important decisions in the moment. Let the media do their post mortem on the situation after it is passed. We can give them the whole shit and caboodle at that time, data, data analyses, expert opinions, the whole nine yards .... but we don’t need to give them the data in real time.

Yall are advocating people give up their right to worship because someone might no matter how remote have a disease that to 80% of people is a mild cold. Large scale gatherings in large cities is not the same as small groups in small communities. Yall are really going to be fucked in the head when a really bad disease comes here.

Like I asked earlier NC ..... if Trump was the only one who got it wrong ..... why is it the Italy, France, Spain, Germany, The UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Netherlands, and a whole host of other nations whom Ill speculate your in love with their politics are in the EXACT SAME predicament ? How was it that ALL of these advanced societies got it wrong, but somehow, the US is special, it got it wrong because of Trump.

Edit ... since you said you blame him for our response in your last answer .... our response is so far as good if not better than every other advanced western nation. So again, how is it their response is no better than ours, given they don’t have Trump screwing things up?

 

thats not the issue. they can get the rona all they want. the point is that they dont spread it around so fast that it overwhelms the hospitals so that when my dad gets it he doesnt get a bed and a doctor. we are trying to get it slowly, not avoid getting it all.

i wish i had it right now, it doesnt scare me. its not about personal risk or choice. its about keeping the number of people that have it below our capacity to treat them. if we can treat them they will die at a very low rate. if we cant, they wont.

 

its not that they cant worship, its that they cant assemble together. they are free to skype a thousand fuckers together to praise allah or jeebus
