    What part of this propaganda?

    - pneumonia deaths are around 3-5K per day in the US. (Per the CDC)
    - both flu and COVID19 are spread primarily by aerosols.

not minimizing COVID19, but LSUpride is making a valid point. We live with risk everyday. The only difference between flu, car accidents, homicides in Chicago, .... and COVID19 .... we know the risk and have accepted it. We don’t know the risk for COVID19 .... and everything is magnified.

You can blame them and you should. Why do you think we can't go to a ball game, a concert or a movie. Or even a restaurant to sit down and eat inside

    Noone said unlimited freedom
This all started with someone saying the Texas govenor was pandering to his base. I could care less what his motive was, what I said was if I lived in rural Texas and wanted to attend church I should be able to. That is no different that going to the market or whatever other small group which would be allowed to do.
We are way too open to having the government decide what we can and cannot do lately in my opinion.
Look at this way, already our freedom of assembly is curtailed which directly impacts freedom of speech what's next. The 2nd ammendment, freedom of illegal search and seizure? Thank about what you are giving away before you give it away.

I’m with ya bro ..... I’m at risk myself. I don’t oppose the heightened vigilance at all.

As for evidence, there again is where we have a responsibility to our loved ones and ourselves. We may not be able to identify the culprit, but in cases of deliberate spread, it becomes a little easier. Keeping at risk loved ones protected, going to the store for them, and staying away from them if you suspect your compromised eliminates a lot of the risk. Putting a sign on an entrance, STOP, if you have a cough, sniffles, a fever, or any sign of illness or impending illness, do not enter. That neighbor or person who came over yesterday and is on a vent today likely knew they were sick.

My daughter was invited to hang out with friends .... ol lady and I said no. A friend of ours daughter had a friend that was just coming in the house ... friend (who works for the health department) told the daughters friend ... “we love ya like a daughter, but don’t just come in the house anymore. Knock, y’all go outside and practice distancing”. It’s really the things we do that will matter for us. All I need from the government and media is keep me in the loop with suggestions.

What kind of dog did Hitler have?

Anyway, society lives with risk and we have allowable risk, like the flu, cars, drugs, etc.

    This is no different.

I have a question for Winston, and NC. So you guys think it is so bad here because of Trump. So ...

How is it that France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, the UK, Austria, Japan, and a whole host of other nations are in the same boat? Seems to me there is a systemic cause that underlies all of these so called failures, for which it can’t be Trump.

Even Germany, S Korea, and Canada .... I mean Canada where you have to take an airplane to borrow a cup of sugar ..... are all over 1% mortality. Germany is rising fast. S Korea is stable, but have been at it longer.

    A German shepherd

The pandemic has pushing the line past the allowable risk stage. I don't know how accurate it is but Trump is now saying 100k to 240k dead.
