It is being used in clinical trials to determine its effectiveness and how to administer it. You can't tout this as a panacea yet nor can you equate Cuomo's order to the cause of the deaths in NY. But you can play politics with this.
Mostly because he wrote in English, a language that I speak and understand. like what? guess being the optimal word here. me thinks you guess a lot... Wow....I can't wait to hear the explanation for this one. Please, pray tell, how did the media cause a shortage of medical supplies? Asking questions is what the media does. It's their job. What you are calling "gotcha" questions are actually when the media asks him to respond to his earlier comments that contradict his current comments. Those are not "gotcha" questions....those are very legitimate. Was it a "gotcha" questions when the media asked Obama about, "if you like your doctor..." Nope. Totally legit. Further, Trump does himself no favors when he asked questions like, "Mr. President, what would you say to Americans who are scared right now?" and he answers "I think you are a terrible reporter." Is that a "gotcha" question? So are you okay with authoritarianism or not? I am not. Because your answer seems like you are justifying the idea of it. I'll give you a chance to correct yourself. Incorrect. I have nothing against @onceanlsufan. In fact, he seems to be a smart guy who has some understanding of the medical aspect of this whole thing because of his career. That said, if my comments demeaned him then every comment you've posted to me is also demeaning....when in actuality neither is demeaning....it's just a debate about politics. I was responding to what @onceanlsufan posted, just like the media responds to what Trump or any other elected official says. The fact that you have a problem with that says a lot about your position on authoritarianism. I'm just like Garth Brooks....shameless. Our friend literally said "This approach has worked for China..." Do I think that he literally means we should act like China? Probably not. I just think you guys probably don't always read what you write before you hit "post reply." All of the bullet points he listed are very much in the authoritarian playbook....and that is not okay in a free America where the First Amendment protects our rights of free speech. Let me ask you this....in all seriousness...what if Obama had said, "we are going to cut the media out of these press conferences and the American people should just listen to what I say...and what I say only..."? You would literally be standing on your head with angst and you would be right to do so. Why is it okay for Trump and not okay for Obama?
Actually you accused him of advocating for authoritarian rule... That isnt a debate. Its a strawman because you dont have anything to offer...
Again, that is not what was said. I dont know why you insist on making things up to fit your narrative... At no point did Ocean say the press should be allowed. You are a liar. Made up arguments.
Those questions add no value to anyone's life when they ask a question about a statement he made months or years prior when things were different or information was different. Same thing with your M35 Mask deal. Information rapidly changes at a high level. Also, you have brought up Obama twice today.... Why?
Texas expanded its stay at home requirements. Notice at the bottom how the Govna thinks that while congregating in church you are protected from the coronavirus. Of Course, all churches around me are doing online services. This is pandering to your base in its highest degree.
People that are attending church services in this environment most likely believe that God is the only salvation from this plague. If someone wants to take the chance to go church why shouldn't they be allowed to? I'm sure lots of small churches in remote parts of Texas have no online services, so these people would not have an option to worship as the constitution gives them the right to. Why are we so quick to give up our constitutional rights?
I remember when my grandfather, late in life, was not doing so well. He just stopped listening to doctors and family and did what he wanted for his last few years. I think he knew it was on borrowed time. Started to enjoy the things he loved. It got me thinking, what if I lived every day like that?
We have temporarily sacrificed our rights to eat in restaurants, congregate at homes, go to gyms, and even work. We should not allow ones faith to get in the way of facts. You will get it in church just as you would get it anywhere else. God will not save you. People have to realize that and they do for the most part. This is non essential and it is pandering. There is no way around that.
