Texas is handling up on this. Locking down the border to Louisiana for whatever that is worth. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/ne...rantine-coronavirus-border-covid-15164996.php
It would truly be refreshing if everyone here could speak to each other with a bit of respect and decency. This is an American issue, not a Trump issue. As a lifelong Republican, it is distressing to me that the conservatives on this forum seem to be the least tolerant lately.
I am one of those conservatives who is out of tolerance for democrats views. How do you reason with unreasonable views? My view is if you are over 40 and still are a democrat you are hopeless and not worth the time to try to reason with.
Tolerance .... I have no qualms with a single person on this board. But ... I do not have to tolerate a flawed perspective. As a person who does clinical trials, I can safely say that there is no evidence that any administration before Trump would have or could have handled this situation any better. OTOH ... I REFUSE to be tolerant of left wing media talking points. They and the journalist behind them deserve all they get and then some.
He wins because he doesn't take shit and pimp slaps the MSM, leftist and democrats like you. He wins because he ignores what Nancy and Chuckie want him to do. He wins because he listens to the people who elected him. He wins because he is for free speech, right to bear arms, a strong domestic oil and gas industry, strong borders, doesn't listen to the climate change fraudsters, rolls back insane regulations, believes in the sanctity of life, respect for first responders and a strong military. You are a fool and will always be one not worth the time to convince you are on the wrong side.
Tony Spell, the pastor of a church in Central was arrested for violating an order not to have gatherings of more than 50 people. Hey, I admire the guy for sticking to his principles no matter how many of his followers got sick and died. They ought to build a statue of him. Put it right next to the statue of Jim Jones.
