Best available doesn’t mean shit. People who engage in all this crystal ball activity are nothing more than attention whores. It’s much better to assess your data and put forth maximum effort to combat a situation. You can’t know what the response to your efforts will be until after the fact due to unforeseen factors. If what you are doing isn’t working, try something else ..... but fretting about the worst case scenario ..... that being that nothing you do will help and we are all doomed is just a worthless exercise, as nothing you can do can change the outcome.

When I say pull your head out of Trumps butt, I’m meaning try viewing this all from a different perspective other than making this all about Trump. I don’t care what Trump says. As I said, he’s taking a play out of y’all book. Predict a 100,000 deaths, and when we come in at just 4000-10,000 deaths, he will be able to proclaim a huge success. .... look at how great we did.

taiwan has been spectacular at managing the virus, and they are telling the WHO how they did it, but the WHO is not spreading that knowledge, because they just sweep that data in with china. and china and taiwan are different countries with different health systems and leadership. it possible the taiwan model is great and saves lives, but the WHO dont give a shit, they are bought and totally corrupted by china.

Its not really a debate. The Fed predicts now over 30% unemployment.

That shit will lead to wars.

Trump slammed by the left for allowing gun stores to stay open. Typical left try to make us more vulnerable during a crisis. Trump also jams Obama's stupid cafe standards up his ass.

    Go Trump Go!

I’m with you bro. Our government needs to take a step back and come up with common sense quarantine procedures that protect the vulnerable, and prohibit spread across regions. New Orleans needed to be sealed some time ago protecting the rest of the State. NY should have been walled off, preventing migration throughout the NE. Frankly, I lay these responsibilities at the feet of local governments. They are closer to the scene and the populations are more responsive to their local admins than to the Fed. The fed is just a high level, birds eye view.

But .... that all said, new cases will come in just under 20k today, and deaths around 570.. This is a far cry from what the pin head models predict. Percentage wise with 3 day smoothing (statistical speak), the rate of new deaths is slowing. .50% down to 13% if it continues we may be approaching the top of the curve.
