Sure it is Pride. When the first case was reported back in Dec. in China and thought to be animal to human transmission only, Trump should have looked into his crystal ball and shut the country down immediately, except for the paper mills making toilet paper. He should have lobbied congress to purchase all the ventilators and mask across the entire globe. He also should have donated a couple hundred billion to the WHO. All events should have been cancelled immediately, but at the same time, he should have torn down his walls on the southern border to allow all of South America to come here. And in fact he should have bought them all first class tickets so they wouldn’t catch any coronavirus on their journey. He should have fired his HHS and rehired Sebellius, and he himself should have resigned and told Obama to come back and fix the world.

There .... everything would have been perfect.

We were told in a news conference by Trump and Pence eight days ago that there were millions of mask that were available for hospitals to buy "now." They were lying.

Then four days later Trump started blaming the governors because they didn't adequately prepare. Where were those masks that they claimed, just four days before, were available "now"?

When he promised the masks were available for purchase "now" can you blame them for asking where they are? You see, this is Trumps little game and you just go right along with it. He promises something and then four days later when someone calls him out, he blames someone else. That is the antithesis of leadership.

Providing hope and lying are two totally separate things my friend....let's not confuse the two.

I don't know, I am a bit fucking tired of corporations getting all the breaks and bail outs. They need to pull the bootstraps up and save for a rainy day. Maybe had he given them the tax break but made it illegal for them to buy back stock with it

 

Because like the CDC, those governors failed to replace their own stock as recommended by Federal policy. It's not Trumps job to go and personally check the warehouses.
