More like the equivalent of having a plan of battle, and as any military strategist knows, no plan ever survives first contact with the enemy. How can you know you're adequately prepared for a situation you've never faced?

So ... did you and people in the MSM think that Trump could just wave his magic wand and make a bunch of mask and equipment appear? Do you really think that questioning where are the mask can’t come across as a criticism? ... as in “it’s Trumps fault we don’t have mask”?

There are 321 Million people in the US, a weeks worth of mask would be like 22 Billion mask. Granted, Trump was trying to stay positive and give people hope in a rather hopeless situation, ... so do you and the MSM think it wrong for a leader to try and convey a message of hope to the masses?

Maybe because from certain people and news agencies, every answer to their questions becomes a subject for criticism. Experience is a great teacher. Those same people also whine and complain if he stops taking their questions for a time. Face it; there is a large contingency in the media with whom he will simply never be right. And don't suggest that there's some way he can fix it; they don't want it fixed, they just want him gone.

Sheeeit. The Indians in the Frisco area are not poor. Most are FOBs. They were upperclass in India. They got there degrees. They are professionals. Doctors, IT professionals, Real Estate, Restaurant owners. They still are very traditional and not Americanized. Now their kids, the ABCD's, they are cool. I have great friends. They put up with their parents shit (cultural dress for special occasions), but are down with booze, sports, weed. Just to name a few.

I don't know about who's fault it is we are short on supplies. They both played their part. Obama didn't plan for this. Trump didn't plan for this. Cuomo is certainly a finger pointing blamer who did nothing to protect his state and the great NYC for this event.

We got hit with a big one and were not ready. An over response? Over reaction? Perhaps we have not even begun to see the true catastrophe? Should we have to be prepared for an over response if it is so? Better safe than sorry? Should we have warehouses filled with unused medical supplies just in case? Will it be different next time?

I want to know who to blame for the toilet paper shortage. Is the shortage due to an over reaction? Why did we not have warehouses filled with TP? Will it be different next time?

What I said was too simplistic but we can't be ready for an impact we can't predict. It is not just the event. It is how people react to it. How people will handle the event? When the big asteroid hits will we have enough stuff?

The first guy running for office that says that something like this will never happen on is watch is the first guy I am marking off my ballot. He is a liar.
