Refraining from shaking hands is a good practice right now. Lately I have been just giving a little wave to acknowledge the other person and I say "Social distancing you know" to let the other person I'm not trying to be rude, just cautious. How did the custom of shaking hands come to be anyway? The Japanese bow instead. Americans are not about to start bowing but maybe a slight bob of the head with an almost imperceptable hesitation would be a good substitute. Acknowledges the other person without implying subservience. Dude, you are really stretching to use a good piece of advice by the president to perpetuate and expound on your Trump Derangement Syndrome.
nope, just drawing out the people who have TDS... Trump Dick Sucker syndrome. It works both ways. don't think it don't. Thanks for joining. BTW, Trump is working on his greatest feat, to take the place of God himself on Easter. or maybe the second coming but I don't think he has that humility. I got quotes....
LOL ... I haven’t thought about Independence or Coit Rd in almost 40 years. Back in my day, Independence ended just after Parker Rd and turned into a dirt road. Used to hunt Dove out there. Coit was a 2 lane with the “massage” trailers between Dallas North Pkwy (now known as Plano Pkwy) and Richardson. Wish you guys could have seen Plano back in its hay day. ... ahh the memories
I am just down the street near Legacy and Independence. My older daughter graduated from Plano Senior High, and my younger daughter is a freshman at Clark High School, since Plano ISD has that strange set up of 9/10 high schools with 11/12 senior highs (which are more like junior colleges with the open campuses.) They have to divide that way to be able to manage the student enrollment. My daughter's graduating class had over 1600.
Yikes! I moved here in 1997, so Plano was built out to a large extent, but Frisco was still a small town then. Now, there is practically a new downtown skyline going up near the Dallas North Tollway and 121. That's near the Toyota headquarters, along with The Star in Frisco (Cowboys training facility...and shopping/dining center.)
