Is AU's 10-0 record really impressive?

I am kinda hoping to see USC play Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl with OU winning. Then seeing Auburn win their BCS bowl game big and taking #1 in the AP afterwards. Split championship with Aubarn getting no crystal.

Oh hell, who am I kidding. I am hoping for Alabama to pull off a miracle upset of Aubarn!


Of course this is not probable as Aubarn will likely jump OU in polls before season ends.

I pull for LSU first and foremost and want the SEC to be well represented.

I dont like Auburn at all but i always pull for the SEC when it comes to how it helps LSU.

Just like the SEC benefited from LSU going to the Championship game last year. It's extra money for LSU and the conference, it highlights the SEC West and shows how tough it is, and Auburn winning it helps with polls and rankings when it comes to visability.

And like you said they better do it this year cause they will be like LSU next year. Losing playmakers and experience in Key positions. And you can bet your ass they will be crying next year.

Go ahead barners and enjoy this year. Talk your stuff and stick your chins up. You have earned it. I for one will suck down my pride and root for you.

Come next year i will despise the barners again and hope LSU spanks them unmercifully.

I will leave you guys with this one thought.

Just out of general curiosity, IF auburn won out, and IF auburn was lucky enough to get to the OB, and IF auburn faced and beat USC..... would we still be as hated as we seem to be among many LSU fans?

 

You better beat them, because if you don't then we will hate Auburn much more.

 

I for one just hate Auburn because they are a rival and we are competing against each other.

It is nothing personal. I hate Ole Piss the week we play them and i Hate Alabama the week we play them.

If you guys win it all i will be happy that you represented our conference well . And if it is USC you beat then so much better.

If Auburn wins it helps the conference. It is just that simple.

Keep it going and keep the eye of the tiger. Now is no time to be looking past anybody. Take care of business and you will make it. Stay positive but not overconfident. Their is a difference.

My hatred is actually for AU's coach, rather the the team itself and it pains me greatly to say this, but right now, I think they should be ranked No.1. Think about it; they've beaten 3 teams ranked in the top 10 at the time they played them. I don;t think either OU or USuCk can say that.

I believe "the mainstream" LSU fans would cheer for Aubarn LOUDLY if they play USC in the Orange Bowl and most would be pretty happy should Aubarn beat USC because of the nonsense LSU fans have heard in general from USC since last year.

After all is said and done though, Aubarn is a heated rival of LSU and I believe the average LSU fan will always dislike Aubarn.
