800 recommendations being summarily dismissed is outrageous. The proposed plan could use a few new wrinkles, but Pelosi will go down with this ship. So that justifies trying to shove this crap down our throats. Listen very carefully, Red. The majority of Americans do not want what is being proposed. Obama will either rein in the House leadership or he will be a one-term wonder.
i didnt read it (maybe i will) but buchanan thought this 30 (40?) years ago so it would seriously temper any value i would give it. btw, i love the guy---one of my fav conservatives.
