I agree that the world is a better place without Sadamm but the plan, the plan was just flawed

TMM, it didn't matter if we had known this or not, they were ALL FIRED, they started over from scratch. The early years of hiring for the IP/IA was a nightmare because both agencies were flooded with corruption. It took a while for them to be found out and many of them were and were detained and dealt with. It's an ongoing process that is getting better and once the scales tip on both of those points it will be a better day.

Seriously, my biggest complaint is that most people (it seems) have forgotten just how pissed we were in the aftermath of 9/11...even 2 years later. I get to NYC about 15 times a year and every time I see that hole in the ground, I get upset.

Thats the kind of insight I am looking for, you definitely know better than I do. I appreciate that Shane. Which is definitely understandable. Hell corruption is the way. For people who never had freedom, you cant expect them to all of sudden just get and understand democracy, being opressed all those years.

Just drawing another parallel between the US and the Roman Empire. Just trying to lure martin back, who refused to recognize the clear parallels between the United States and The Roman Empire.

Rome declined and eventually fell because of poor leadership, overextention of its military, and and economic collapse due to overspending.

I'll give you a few examples and see how long it takes red to demand a link even though I was there.

    1. We leave a patrol base to make a run through this filthy little town called husienia. The IP have lookouts that can see us leave the PB and they are in the back of their truck 1500m in front of us on the loudspeaker telling all the thugs to hide the Americans are coming.

    2. We are prepping to do a joint raid with the IA. Moqmud calls his cousin mohamed to tell him we are coming.

    3. Certian people are given promotions within each organization because uncle Achmed sits on the parliment.

I could go on and on. After about 2 iterations of situation #2 we would just line up the IA and take their cell phones from them a few hours before SP and never tell them where we were headed till about 30 min prior.

Very well. I felt the Martin connection, unaware of the particulars. Hail Caeser!

Pretty sure the dude's been dead about 5 years now but we're still in Afghanistan looking for him.
