how are they threats? we have military bases everywhere, from germany to the philipines to japan and everywhere. they never attack tokyo or manila. nobody needs to build bases around us we are a capitalist democracy. democracies dont fight anyone unless they deserve it. thats why we dont fight canada. two democracies never fight each other.

i am sure the guys ahead of him are level headed rationalists. dude, try to pay attention to geopolitics. when america is powerful it is good for the world. when america builds nuclear weapons they dont do it because they want to attack. the united states is unique that way. when the US defeats germany and japan they return it to the germans. they return iraq to the iraqis. thats why east and west germany were not the same. so iran isnt worried that the US will attack them. they know how the US rolls. they know we are cool. but they also know that if they harbor a load of terrorist camps and those dudes come and blow up northwestern queens and the upper east side with a dirty bomb, then we will invade. its healthy for everyone to have the US around. and i know occasionally there will be blowback. such is life. for the most part we live in the longest most peaceful and safest time in human history. primarily because of the spread of democracy, and stable and powerful nations like the US and Britain.
