That is good to know info. How is the quality of the phone calls? That's a common gripe with most blackberries, though I'm assuming they have to address it at some point.

I carried the above posts over from the old forum cus they didn't make it.

I didn't even know there were iphone clones out there until I saw this. I've been doing some research. Do y'all have the CECT P168? Are you able to tether it to a laptop and run 3g?

I bought an iPhone Saturday and love it, but there are a couple things I can't figure out.

    1) I have iTunes on 2 machines. When I tell iTunes that I want to manually manage music and movies it asks if I want to erase my iPhone? WTF?

    2) how do I get games on here? Not browser based stuff either, on the phone.

For one, anytime you add a new music device to your computer, iTunes will erase the music and video memory. It's just the way it goes. It shouldn't erase contacts or anything, but to be sure, make sure you back those up.

For the second question, there are no games for the iPhone, just browser based games over the internet. If you've seen games on an iPhone before, then its probably because the phone was hacked - which I believe voids the phone warranty, by the way.

With my iPod I was able to load music through my work pc and video through my home pc.

Is there a third party software that will allow me to move movies to my iPhone?

Btw posting from the iPhone is surprisingly easy.

You should be able to load movies straight from iTunes.

hmm reading online it appears that this is a bug in the new firmware/iTunes...

    Link

Apparently you can manually manage which songs/movies you want on the iPhone, but only in one iTunes library. If you try and connect to another iTunes library itunes will erase all the media from the iPhone.

Yeah, that can happen with iPods, as well. You can only have it paired with one library, so you're not "stealing" songs.

Damn it I'm trying to steal movies not songs.

I found a work around in one of the apple forums.
