Congratulations Iowa we were outplayed until the 4th Qtr and we were outcoached.
I don't understand why Flynn goes in, in that situation over JR?
I'm disappointed but I'm happy at the same time because it Could've been worse?
    I think, mixed emotions here.

Well, the tigers blew it today. They played bad, flat out. I'm not a fairweather fan or anything, but it's true. It's a bit depressing. We kicked our own arses today. Congratulations, Iowa.

That being said... Anyone want to meet me in the French Quarter to get drunk and ease our woes?

I would love to except I'm drinking my sorrows so badly right now, I probably couldn't even book a flight online....and it's going to get worse before it's better (and I mean that on a personal intoxicated level).

The Hawkeyes played tough, played smart, and executed well down the stretch. The Tigers just seemed like they could not quite get in sync offensively - their timing looked a bit off. I thought that LSU had superior personnel, but just didn't execute in key situations. It's clear that Fisher needs to focus on developing his QB's, but in truth, the Tiger O-line got whupped today.

Very impressive drive by Russell in the 4th. IMO, he gets an A for execution, but a D on game management (clock, TO's, and down/distance). The wasted TO late in the game (the one Nick was so animated about) was one of the two key mistakes that ultimately cost the game.

The second was the failure to go for the PAT kick. That one point would've given Nick a ton more leeway in playing more aggresively against the hail mary . It didn't ....the coverage was soft.....the corner got burned....."game Iowa."

Nevertheless, LSU fans should be proud. There's a great young talent base in a "well stocked cupboard" when the new staff arrives. It's a very promising future for any coach ......

No matter how you slice it or dice it Iowa was the better team today. I was amazed we were even in the game with all of the mistakes, blown assignments, poor decisions(fake kick up the middle??????) You still have to be excited about our kids!!! What remarkable athletes!! Congrats Iowa, you deserved this win....We'll be back:geaux: !

I thought it was a great game. Fun to watch even though we came short. That game was no different from about 75% of the games this season. Down to the wire!

I didn't see as much emotion from Saban as before. He was ready to get out.
