1. I am a Brave fan... or more specifically, an Andruw Jones fan, so I hope they take it all, but I do also love the Cardinals tradition
  2. Would someone be kind enough to post an mp3 of the alma mater?

  3. go to our tailgate site www.teamkatt.com Under the LSU Stuff link it is there along with the words.
  4. Good stuff...nice new tradition! LSU!
  5. I agree.
  6. I'm confused. When singing the Alma Mater after the game it seems like everyone starts with "Where stately oaks..." but they end with "...forever L-S-U." Someone mentioned that they sing only one verse (BergeGFK), but these words are from both verses. How can this be?
  7. It's just like in pregame, they start with one and end with the the second. Like he said, attention purposes, and you would be surprised how many people out there don't know that there are even two verses to it. They taught the team the second verse during preseason with the Tigerband leaders this year. If you so desire to hear the whole thing performed in Tiger Stadium, after the next game(hopefully a win but even if not) after the team sings it, the band will play through some of the show tunes if not all, then they will play "Let us Break Bread Together" after which will be the Alma Mater with both verses sung. This has been a tradition of the band for about ten years now since Ms. Moorhouse returned in in 1995.
  8. Mixed verses in pregame
    Second verse with team
    Whole song with band

I think we need to make this a bit more complex...haha.
  9. Looks good to me! I don't care if they hold each other by the butt cheeks, as long as they keep winning. :thumb:

.....ok....MAYBE the whole "butt cheek" thing would be taking it a little too far--but you all get my point.
  10. Couldn't agree more!!!!
