It's a tough situation and one that coaches face all the time. Suspend a guy for being arrested and it seems like presumption of guilt. But playing a guy that may be convicted of a felony reflects badly upon the coach, the team, and the university. The media would harp on it in each and every game to the detriment of the team, the fans, and the player. All players know that if they get into legal trouble, their eligibility to play is at risk.
Didn't the employees from the bar say the fight started before the truck pulled up? If that's the case the first punch by Lowery was the actual start of the whole mess.
Agree and disagree Without the kicking I say you are right . But to drop kick a mans head while he is down , another story .
so true... up until someone gets three broken vertibrae.... then a simple bar fight gets legal... and rules start popping up.
Still better than them getting back to vehicle to grab a pistol. Speaking in general here and not specifically to this incident but red is right and you do what you have to do to win in a street fight. There's no ref to break you up. That was one reason I always liked to test 'em inside the bar. They'll break it up. When you go outside, unless someone jumps in, it's going to be fight til someone is laid out, most likely.
At least he's not locked in all caps. Maybe it's time fo red to tell him the paragraph is his friend.
Bouncers don't become bouncers for one reason only. I used to bounce and the reason I did it was because I was unemployed. You should watch making generalizations about things you know little about.
I feel the same way. What makes it worse is the frustration from not knowing the facts that can't be released. I can live with it either way but the suspense is a killer.
