I didn't create the stats, simply sent you a link with an overview of our teams. Don't shoot the messenger home slice!
Well, one thing you'd have to take into account is IF the Ducks were in the SEC, it would open the doors to a much larger recruiting base, that until recently was harder than hell for the Ducks to get into. If the Ducks, were recruiting the same athletes the other SEC teams were recruiting, I bet Oregon would win their fair share of the battles, and have higher end talent, thus making them a bit better, and geared towards playing a SEC schedule. Who knows how they'd do. I do know that with the talent they have now, they can compete with anyone in the SEC. With a few more 4-5 stars...who knows... It would be fun to find out!
This post is proof that it's time to play football. We must be running out of statistical crap by now. I'll tell you who LSU plays, we play the last 3 three national champs - AND WE PLAY THEM EVERY FRIGGIN YEAR. It would be the last 4 champs, but the 4th one was us.
Ouch... We were playing behind the SC Dynasty for the past decade. We had some substantial injuries to QB's in 2006 and 2007 as well, that woulda coulda got Oregon another chance at a championship. Went 10-1 in the regular season in 2005, but SC went undefeated, so what could ya do, right? Oh well... The whole conversation reminds me of the old Janet Jackson song: "What Have You Done For Me Lately". Let's strap it on, and get it on!
That's not what Willie Lyles says. Yeh it's a cheap shot but you set it up so well I just couldn't resist.
