1. USC should be the best team we face all year and they run the spread too. :thumb:
  2. Well, it's good to know that not only have we been pencilled into the championship game so early, but that USC has as well.

Lots of football left to play this year, for both teams.
  3. He is a redshirt junior. He was in 7 or 8 games last year, but played very sparingly. He actually has the talent to play at a bigger name school, but he is 5-10 or 5-11, so he was overlooked because of his size.

Just like some of you are saying we will be a good challenge (and I hope we are), any type of success we have against you should be good for our confidence. After Saturday all of our other games are "winnable". There's a good chance we will start 0-3, but I can see a senario where we end up 9-3 or 8-4.

Hopefully we will be able to visit one day and have a legit shot at a win. We are still building our program so I have to take pride every time we take a step forward. Like I said earlier, I would love to have you guys squirming in your seats at halftime. It was a lot of fun hearing the Louisville fans booing as their team ran off the field at halftime.
  4. Hopefully you will play the same type of defense Louisville played, lol.

  5.:lol: I think they were expecting the run.
  6. Yeah they did. But they didn't score! The QB did the right thing and immediately threw it out there. I think I remember that the WR did not catch it cleanly and was later caught from behind way down the field. With the speed he showed (or actually didn't show), I don't think that there will be any problems with our CBs staying in tight man-to-man.
  7. First, I would like to welcome you to the board, I do hope that you come back often, before and after the game.

Yep, I feel the same way Stacey
  8. You are correct. Of course, that wasn't our speed receiver, #17 is our possession receiver. He might be the slowest of our starters. The play was till good for 50 yards.
  9. Thanks for the kind words. I would love to be down there this weekend, but unfortunately my budget won't allow me to attend every game. I am making 4 of our 7 road trips but this one I am skipping. I figure I should save my money for games that are more "winnable" for the Blue Raiders.

I hear you are great hosts and there is absolutely nothing like a night game at LSU. Hopefully one day I will get to experience it.
