Not really. The discussion began with an observation on the increasing use of profanity instead of solid argument in posts. It was a request for people to speak with class and intelligence. No words were banned or thoughts terminated. If you are confused by the difference retake civics 101 or read the USAF guidence on speech free and political.

NOW your proverb would actually be in context IF I took message forums and what's posted seriously.

Let not thy conscience be troubled for he who threw the first stone minds not it was thrown in return. - Boaz 27:9

I guess some people just have a few words that they know how to use , and yes they are very discriptive words , and it shows that some just went to school to hang out not to learn. It is not their fault they just didn't have any reason to learn other words .

Profanity... ah yes. I am guilty of having a potty mouth sometimes. But, I've never used that sort of language in any place where general public are in earshot or can see what I am saying. I think most people use those words here harmlessly to express themselves or add exclamation to what they are saying. Personally, I try to avoid that. But not because I am a bible thumper or because I'm trying to be more eloquent with my words. It is merely my small way of showing some respect to others and the possibility that anyone could be reading this. Truth be told, I wouldn't say anything here I wouldn't say to my mother. But that doesn't mean I don't use bad language. I just choose not to shower the internet or people around me with my profanity. With that said, I don't come here and expect Brett to clean up the language for me. I am a grown man and reading a few bad words here isn't doing me any harm (that I am aware of). It's a bad word... (keyword here being "word"), and unfortunately, that is part of the internet.
