First off yes. I read the entire 9-11 commission report (Note read, not watched a movie or some "Special")
Think about it, when did the 9-11 terrorist train and plan their attack. Ignore everything else use your head, just look at a simple fact like a date. Just that one metric. Date. Then stop, think and say Hmmm.. Wait Bush wasnt even running when Atta was taking flying lessons and said "I dont need to learn how to land"
So hate Bush fine, but be realistic man.

And NO I didnt watch the movie, I normally dont watch movies either created by skinheads, Sean Hannity "specials" or an other "documentaries" claiming to be fact. I mean I have watched some of them sure like Bowling for Columbine but I understood it was twisted truth, its nothing different then a magic show. Slight of hand stuff. Its fiction dude. Enjoy it sure, makes you feel good but be smart about it. Gets you all fired up. Look at JFK another fiction movie, sure I enjoyed it watched it several times but it wasnt truth man. . It was all made up stories. But entertaining I will give you that.
Honestly really, you dont really believe Michael Moore or Alec Baldwin are doing anything but presenting to you fiction and agendas??

 

As for Bush's response. Are you talking about him sitting in the classroom...

Again, use your head on this one. Put yourself in his shoes.
There you are sitting there in front a group of American Children reading a story. Some guy leans in your ear and says "Mr. President we are under attack on our own land, in an unprecedented way, and we believe the white house is a target as well and your wife is home"
What would you do. Jump up and say "HOLY F*(K, to the Bat Mobile, enjoy the Puppy who lost his way"
NO !!!!
You would sit there for a minute and collect your thoughts and carefully methodically think for a minute facing one of the biggest crisis in American History. . At least any smart person would. I mean how would anyone react to that, facing the biggest crisis in American History.

Want some history, grab a book and read about how FDR reacted when Pearl Harbor happened.
Then tell me what was dramatically different.....

Almost all Americans. You may recall two Senators from New York who weren't paying attention and one female Senator from New York who even rolled her eyes while the President was addressing the nation shortly after 9/11. How embarrassing!

That to me is reason enough to never like or trust either scumbag. Unfortunately we've just elevated one to an even higher position of authority. :nope:

C'mon John be straight with yourself.
That thing was made by a guy waaaay over on the extreme end of the spectrum and didn't even act like he was attempting to put anything that remotely resmbled a pro-Bush/repubilcan thought into his movie.

With that in mind, it can't be used as "fact".

I can make a highlight reel of Jarrett Lee that can make him look like an All-SEC type QB. You know like completely leaving out any incomplete passes, or sacks, or interceptions.

 

I watched pieces of it on HBO a few times, got a few chuckles and changed the channel. No different then watching Oberman on MSNBC. I am smart enough to know the difference between someones opinion who happens to have a camera and fact.

I mean really, I am stunned you actually bought into that crap. If you want to watch it for entertainment great. But dont believe it, use your head.
Good lord I am just stunned someone actually believes that stuff.
Its saddening.. I never really thought someone would buy into that stuff. Its kind of amazing....
I mean even my most liberal friends realize that movie is nothing but magic and fiction. they love it because its supports thier disdain for Bush but they realize its just someone making up stories and manipulating things to show you what they want. Again just like a magic show. Its not real. But its fun I guess.
