Legislators did pay face value for their tix. Many, however, have opted to sell them, or sell some - of the tiks they received. For big time money.

The ridiculous part (and ironic part) is that they were the ones who passed the law that makes it illegal for LA citizens to buy tiks for more than the face value!!
