There's only some fringe elements on here calling for Les Miles' head. So let's get that straight first. Most of the reasonable posters on here know we have 2 problems. QB and the DC position. We get a new DC that knows what he is doing and also allow Jefferson to take over this offense we will be just fine. These are the type of decisions we are paying Les Miles big time money to make. They aren't easy decisions, as people's lives are at stake. But they are decisions a great coach needs to make for the betterment of this team. If we head into 09 with Lee as our QB and Mallory/Peveto as the DC, then Les Miles will deserve to be on the hotseat 2 years removed from an NC, should we lose back to back 4-5 loss seasons. I would think that most reasonable people could agree to this. Let's hope Les uses the 2 crystal balls he has and makes the proper calls.
