Aren't we just a little too invested in Iraq (read 2500 dead American men) to resort to a plan B now. Now for Iran, Pakistan or North Korea I say skip plan A. For Iraq plan B would undercut the sacrafice our soldiers and Marines have made.
not really, after all we did drop the bomb on Japan and alot of good american soldiers died in the pacific theater.
Apples and oranges I'm afraid. We never fought the Japs with one arm behind our backs. Also we weren't there to spread democracy, but to ensure it wasn't threatened at home.
You implied that in Iraq we are there to spread democracy, not to ensure that it isn't threatened at home (I believe that the jihadists would be a lot more enthusiastic about attacking America's mainland would it not be for our troops presenting a convenient target in the Middle East)
I'm always perplexed how we equate one Muslim life with one American life. How does that make a bit of sense?
