Doesn't matter whether they do or don't, all that matters is whether the owner of the website is willing to fight it.

He wont have to fight it. There is zero merit to any of those charges, it will be thrown out before anyone has to spend hardly a dime.

I'm sure a lot of lawyers would represent the defendant pro bono if need be.

Well, that about seals it (as if there was a need for more proof before this anyways): USC fans are about the biggest m**herf***ing pole smokers in the history of the world.

Sure, you can sue over anything and for any reason, but let me ask a simple, simple question:

What, exactly, is so defamatory about the billboard?

It shows the 110% factual presentation of the BCS national championship trophy to LSU, USC and the University of Texas the past three years; furthermore, it asks the question of should a single title construe a "dynasty".

For f**k's sake, that's like suing someone for posting a billboard showing the Sun rising in the east for having the audacity suggesting that...the Sun rises in the east.

Wow, what a bunch of fudge packers!

The only thing from a point of law they could use to keep it from going up is the copyright infringement. I don't think they can just slap a picture of the ADT trophy up there with out the permission of the BCS.

I may even be wrong about this though since they are not profiting from the use of it.

1st semester lawyer wannabe. A little bit of knowlege can be dangerous. I'd sure like to see them prove damages. Loss of consortium? "Well, your honor, since the billboard went up my wife and I haven't had sex."
