you almost got under my skin with that one, but i can sit back and just laugh at how ignorant that was. Not surprising considering the source though.
You know, I'd be happy for Grandpa and Sis to join us for a barbeque and a square dance, Hoss. They're both fine and interesting folks. But I ain't electing them President. One could drop dead and the other will not know what to do.
It was meant to be ridiculous to demonstrate how ridiculous some of the comments have been regarding McCain's health and Palin's gender. When someone attacks the candidates based on this it's just an attempt to avoid the real issues. As I've said many times before...I don't like either one of them. I'm just buying into this holier than thou BS surrounding Obama. Considering the source, I'm also not surprised by your reaction. Afterall, you've always been a victim and always will be. I'm the fortunate one who has never had to earn anything. :nope:
Victim of what, you cant even back this up with anything of substance. Another one of your ignorant post. I dont know what you had to earn and I dont care, has nothing to do with me. I've never played to victim of any circumstances. Because I have earned everything I have myself. I own all of my post and I dont run from them, I am wrong about something I admit that or if I offend someone I admit that as well and apologize on the spot or in pm. Now dont blame me for your ignorance, I had nothing to do with that, I didnt raise you. Now dont try to back out of something stupid that you said by changing the subject in a completely different direction. My reaction is because Id have some friends children suffer and past away from sickle cell. Its a horrible disease and thats my reaction to your ignorant post.
You know, I'd be happy for The Second Coming and Foot-in-Mouth to join us for a last supper and to plagiarize law reviews, Hoss. They're both interesting elitists. But I ain't electing them President. One could be a terrorist and the other will just blurt out obscenities.
Are you seriously saying this? It's the damn Republicans bailing everyone out now and taking over big business.
Twist it however it works for you. Once again, if someone doesn't share your views...they're ignorant. Just because you interpret something to suit yourself doesn't mean someone is changing it in a completely different direction. I'm glad my point struck a chord with you. It should! You should feel the same way when your party makes fun of McCain's limited usage of his extremities. Whether it's a disease, age, or due to an injury serving your country, you shouldn't be omitted from consideration based on this. McCain is not on his death bed. Is he old?...Yes Is he dead?...No Do we have any guarantees that Obama or McCain will die in office? Do we have any guarantee that Obama will outlive McCain? Why can't Palin be a mother and VP? Many Democrats thought Hillary could and I'm guessing Palin is probably a better mother than Hillary. At least it doesn't take her a village to raise her children.
But have you seen me make fun of his age or the fact that Palin is a mother, I dont care about any of that, I dont play identity politics as you do so well. I have problems with his policies and ideals. Its not your politics that are ignorant, its your poor choice of using that disease to win a point, thats the ignorant part. You dont know who has been affected by the disease, everyone gets old. Do you see the difference now. Their are many people on this board who disagree with me, I havent called all of them ignorant. In the same breath you cry about someone bashing McCains age and Palins motherhood. But you criticize Hillary Clinton ability of being a good mother. How do you know whos the better mother, but its ok for you to criticize her, but get your panties in a bunch about Palin. Thats hypocritical. You say you dont like McCain, but you are just fine criticizing Obama.
I'll criticize them all. I've said it many times before...I DON'T LIKE OBAMA OR MCCAIN. I'm a conservative and I tend to vote more Republican. I used to vote more Democrat and even voted for Slick Willy the first time. Due to Clinton's abuses as president and the fact that so many Democrats came to his defense, I started voting more Republican. Why do I vote this way? I see Democrats generally as whiners who would rather complain about the Republicans than to spend energy fixing problems. Are the Republicans immune to mistakes, conspiracies, etc? Absolutely not! But I do believe they take a stronger stance in regards to national security, personal accountability, and are more in line with the founders of this country. I don't care for McCain but if I vote for him I know what I'm getting. I don't know what I'd get from Obama but I have a bad feeling in my gut that he's putting on a show right now and the real Obama will be exposed after inauguration. We also know Biden. He's a big talker with little substance. Obama knew this but had to add him because Obama has very little experience with anything, especially foreign policy matters. Palin was the unknown. The personal attacks on her have been brutal. Do I need to attack Hillary's personal life?...No, she has enough political mistakes to choose from so there's no need to get personal. There's not a lot of political dirt on Palin, that's why the left-wing media has resorted to personal attacks. Anybody remember when both sides of the aisle came together after 9/11? (Well...everybody but the two Democrat Senators from NY...including the one rolling her eyes while the President spoke.) ...and how do I know Hillary is not a good mother? Her daughter is a Democrat. Isn't that enough? :hihi:
And Obama has a plan to reduce the deficit? Obama's spending plans: $65 billion-a-year health plan (Similar Hillary plan estimated up to 150 billion.) $15 billion in green energy spending $85 billion in tax cuts and credits $25 billion-a-year increase in foreign aid $18 billion a year in education spending $3.5 billion for a national service plan That's $211.5 billion annually or $846 billion his first term. These are just estimates and the likely cost will be much higher. Are you worried about the Bush tax cuts being renewed by Mccain? Unfortunately, the Bush tax cuts will end no matter who wins. The Democrats already control congress and are expected to make even more gains in November. How will Mccain get those tax cuts extended? In this environment the best formula to reduce the deficit is grid-lock. Obama in conjunction with a Democratically controlled congress is just the opposite of what is needed to put a lid on spending. At least Mccain has stated he wants to get rid of earmarks. Obama's plan to raise the capital gains tax is anti-growth. With the stock market in turmoil the last thing you want to do is make the rewards from making a profit in the market less. That's exactly what an increase in the capital gains rate will do. Neither Obama or Mccain have shown any real intentions of decreasing the deficit. The only way any substantial debt reduction will occur is by economic growth and in my opinion Mccain is the one with pro-growth policies. Not Obama.
