so there wouldnt be poor without govt programs? (nice racial reference too btw)

perhaps you should take a look at the lives of the poor before social programs were instituted.

anyway i really wish you republicans would stop harping on govt housing and welfare. its not a major portion of the budget. add medicare/medicaid, military and SS and there's only one-third left. just shows youve bought into the GOP race-baiting hatred.

This is a very clear issue...

Conservatives want to assist those in need but not allow people to take advantage of the system. In essence, earn your way.

Liberals want people to believe they couldn't survive without their leadership. They also consider the amount paid in government services minimal compared to the number of votes they gain. In essence, let's buy their votes cheap.

Your two comments...1) "its not a major portion" leads me to believe you haven't been around the block long; and 2) "GOP race-baiting hatred" is a typical Democrat response to sway minorities into your camp. Minorities having been voting Democrat for decades. We can see where that has gotten them. (Feel free to mention a few that have done well whle forgetting to mention the majority.)

I'm not the one who throws around hate speech here.

You don't know a damn thing about me, obviously.

There isn't any. You accused me of 'hating" the right wing, which I've never said. I just reiterated that I don't throw around hate speech here. You confuse me with someone else.

    Settle down.

And here is yet another member who claims anyone who says something against JM is a LIBERAL, OR OBAMA IS YOUR ONE, OR YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE COUNTRY.

    Get over yourself.

I've said it again and I've said it before less damage is STILL damage. Why can't you drive that into everyone's skull.

Vote for someone that will at least bring America back to it's roots. If you and the other sheep of this world would open their eyes they would see more choices.

Please tell me who those others are that will bring America back to its roots. It's certainly not Obama! BTW...I'm not a Obama supporter, therefore I'm not a sheep. You might want to look in the mirror though. :hihi:

Supporting JM is a sheep in the other direction. You already said he would do "less damage" so doing some damage is ok?

Goldwater Jr, Paul, Barr.. Among others.
