I'm seriously considering voting for Obama...

I don't have a candidate. I'll vote for McCain simply because I believe Obama is a horrible choice and people have their head up their rear too far to realize who he really is.

Regardless of who wins, I hope we have a better selection in four years. This year's final three...McCain, Obama, and Clinton are all worthless!

Regarding your other comment...apply for a federal job and when they're completing your background investigation and ask you if you've had any relationships with anyone who conspired to do harm or overthrow the U.S., go ahead an answer yes and see if you get the job.

Then again, you could just lie and say no. Lying seems to work well for the party you're "not really" supporting.

Neither one is a good candidate. It doesn't matter what anyone says about Obama, you'll will still believe he's the second coming.

Do I believe he sat in a church for years and never heard a racist preacher say anything out of line?...NO

Do I believe he just "casually" bumped into Bill Ayers?...NO

Do I believe he advocates a redistribution of wealth?...YES

Do I believe Obama wants to take guns away from law abiding citizens?...YES

Do I believe Obama supports any and every form of abortion on our tax dollars?...YES

Do I believe Obama has stronger ties to ACORN than he explained?...YES

Do I believe his wife was misquoted when she said she had not previously been proud of her country?...NO

Do I believe Obama has more ties to the Muslim community than he's admitting?...YES

Do I find some of the views he expressed about his family racist?...YES

My point is we settle for mediocrity! Instead of running all of these bums out we continue to try to justify them. Does this country have a chance?...sure but not if they take our guns and voice away from us...which always seems to come from one party.

Is McCain a great choice?...NO but in my opinion he'll do less damage than Obama before we can select another "hopefully decent" president.

Regarding my opinion...it's mine and this is Free Speech Alley. Liberals sure do like to have the right to burn the flag, protest, riot, etc...but DAMN they hate free speech when it doesn't agree with them. TOO BAD!

The only emotion involved is that I love my country and I'm pretty ticked that with over 300 million people, these are the only choices we have.

Regarding the parties...I started as a Democrat, got tired of the hypocrisy and double standards that have become their trademark, registered as an Independent, voted for Clinton the 1st time, got disgusted w/Slick Willy and the Dems, switched to Republican and have remained not because I'm enamored with them but because I'm much more conservative than liberal.

The main reason I can't stand the current Democrats is because most of their leaders aren't moderate or even slightly liberal...they're liberal nuts! I have a hard time supporting the party that has done nothing for this state during my lifetime although they've held an overwhelming majority of positions.

Prove something to me on the local (state) level before asking me to support your national efforts.

 

Truth, logic, his record, facts, his associates and Obama's past all give more credence to those issues being true. It is you my friend that is so blinded by your hatred of the Right that doesn't see the facts as they exist.
